Sleep disorders are frequently the sources of parental concerns. In addition, disrupted or insufficient sleep can have negative
impact on the mental and physical health of children. Adequate sleep improves child’s control of behavior, attention and
emotions.(1) Circumferential evidence suggests a basic neurodevelopmental process linking sleep and the regulation of
attention, arousal, affect, and social behavior.(2)
